historic trail of when (exact date) forms were submitted to their line managers and if/when line managers sent back to colleagues

Is there a way we can view a historic trail of when (exact date) forms were submitted to their line managers, and if/when managers sent them back to employee and then were consequently resubmitted to line manager? If we pull a form workflow report we can only see the current status of the form and not the historic trail. Is it possible to get this information?
