We launched Access Learning this week to our company with a GameBrain quiz - with some cash incentives to persuade people to download the app. We made a big deal about the League and the Podium etc - but out of 30 people who played it so far - 15 of them have maxxed out the score so they are all tied at the top.
This spoils the whole competitive nature of the system and has made most people lose interest and only 10% of the workforce have bothered to download/try the quiz. From what we can work out - this is because the scoring multipliers are based on number of seconds taken to answer correctly - and chaining a series of correct answers together - however, it's easy for most people to answer within 1 second once they have played once.
We would like to see the scoring reworked to be based on 1000ths of a second instead of seconds - which would create a much wider variable to ensure that we don't get everyone maxxed out and tying at the top.
Hi Adam,
We're not planning any development on Gamebrain at this time, so I'm going to close this idea for now.
Thanks,
Jess Gillett - LMS Product Manager
Hi Adam,
This is a great suggestion to make GameBrain more competitive. We've opened this for voting.
Thanks, LMS team
