When creating a reg rule you are able able to exclude child units from the scope of the registration rule. Certain clients in the care sector use categories to define skill sets for certain users, which means they have different requirements when it comes to training. Allowing the rule to exclude people with certain categories will make it easier to set the rule for the clients
This would be a big help for us as well. For our quarterly compliance learning there is one quarter where about 300 colleagues receive an Extended version of Market Abuse. So we need to create 2 pathways, one with basic, one with extended. We allocate the group category to the extended easily enough.
For the basic we have to ensure all email reminders are turned off. Add the extended group. Remove them. then turn on the emails and then add the whole organisation ensuring the box is ticked where you dont register previously cancelled users. Being able to exclude a group/category would make it so much easier
