Allow Trainer role the ability to publish events (Catalogue Tab access)

Currently the trainer role does not allow the ability to publish events that the trainer sets up. It is therefore no use for us as the administrator then needs to remember/publish any events that trainers have created. Please can we allow access to this to allow management of the events they set up? In an organisation where there are many programmes and many events created by various teams the only way to allow this to be managed currently is to give them Content Creator Access.
