There should either be some sort of verbiage telling users that in order to view the job board (jobs that their school has uploaded or employers uploaded specifically for them) they need to remove their preferences tab. This is not intuitive at all for the users. Or when they land on the job board, perhaps the preference tab can be automatically switched off so they can view these jobs.
Hi Ian,
I can see this now! That is perfect, thank you so much! That makes things much more clear.
Kind regards,
Shannon
Hi Shannon, thanks for your feedback. There is a setting to disable job preferences and we have changed for you. We'll get in touch with you directly to discuss this in more detail.
Hi Ian,
Certainly, while I'm aware of the existence of this tab, it may not be immediately intuitive for users to realize they need to turn it off to view jobs specifically uploaded for them. To address this, can we consider incorporating some user-friendly verbiage to indicate this to users.
Thank you,
Shannon
Hi Shannon, thanks for raising this - in jobs manager, a panel appears prompting students to switch their preferences off. Most users would prefer their job preferences to remain enabled. Is this working as you would expect?
