While CV360 shows pass/fail against the standard checks carried out, it does not currently scan the CV against a specific vacancy showing whether a student demonstrates themselves as a match - demonstrating the skills and qualities being sought in the employers requirements. Recent developments appear to move somewhat towards doing this, it still doesn't quite fit clearly into an assessment design, so I was wondering....
I would like to able to ask a group of students to all apply for the same vacancy using their CV (maybe an example vacancy which I would create for a job role related to their subject area, where I can list the skills / requirements being sought). I would like to be able to have them tailor their CV to match to the requirements of the role (after analysing the details of the role themselves) and submit their CV for scanning. When the students CV is then scanned by CV360 and select the specific vacancy being applied for, it then tells them how closely a match they are to that vacancy, and maybe highlighting the areas that haven't been evidenced, giving them a colour coded % matched score. Students could resubmit / scan their CV against the vacancy multiple times, to achieve a higher matching score before making a final submission / application.
This would help clearly demonstrate a best practice approach to applications using CV, having them analyse roles, reflect on their skills and how they communicate those clearly within their CV - not just passing the common / standard checks carried out by an ATS.
Perhaps from the admin view - it could generate a list of applicants who best match the vacancy too? Similar to other ATS / recruitment tools.
