The assessment centre tool has a lot of potential to support our students, particularly with its' profiles on some of the top graduate hirers, however its' interface is outdated and confusing.
The interface could be made more user friendly by having greater clarity as to which buttons mean what, and how to progress through the tool on a step by step basis. Rather than certain buttons replacing others as you go through it.
The company profiles could well be out of date by now in regards to companies' recruiting practices, particularly as of the recent rise of AI in the jobseeking process. This may require some research - use of resources such as The Times Top 100 Graduate Recruiters may help.
